Dine & Dance in DC for New Year’s Eve 2013

Echostage is the DMV’s newest and largest concert venue. Still in its opening year, the space has already hosted international music legends such as David GuettaTiestoCalvin Harris and more. World-renowned DJ Eric Prydz, the man behind Sweden’s rise to house music domination, will host his first performance at the new 30,000 plus sq. ft. venue this New Year’s Eve. Doors to the 18+ electronic dance party open at 8:00pm. DC high rollers can reserve a VIP table with bottle service to celebrate the new year in style. General admission tickets are $60.

andma’s-house atmosphere. This New Year’s Eve, the popular resto-lounge will offer Washingtonians an array of family-style appetizers and desserts and one entree of their choice. Partygoers will enjoy traditional dishes such as blinispirozhki, and beef stroganoff. Reservations start at $150-a-head, including one complimentary 375ml bottle of champagne per diner. Mari Vanna’s in-house accordionist will be on-hand playing classics throughout the night, and the resident DJ will spin at midnight.

New DC hotspot KABIN – which opened its doors to Washingtonians in June – will host a five-hour premium open bar fete beginning at 10:00pm. NYC-based DJ Jonathan Move will spin the best mash-ups of top 40, dance, and house music in DC’s newest Alpine-inspired lounge. General admission tickets start at $75, but big spenders can customize their own table with a unique New Year’s Eve VIP menu. Tables start at $1,000 and seat 8 people. Partygoers looking to ring in 2014 with a laugh can spend $1,500 for extra beverage offerings and bottle delivery by a costumed Bigfoot.

Downtown restaurant and lounge Barcode will host two four-course-menu dinner seatings this New Year’s Eve, the Early Bird and the Night Cap. Both offerings include one complimentary bottle of champagne for each couple. The Early Bird ($40) begins at 5:00pm and the Night Cap ($60) begins at 7:30pm. Joining friends for the ball drop? Don’t fret. Barcode staff will offer all guests a complimentary glass of bubbly at midnight. VIP Tables start at $300 and seat up to six. General admission tickets can be purchased in advance for $30. Procrastinators can pay $40 for entry at the door.

The Bachelor’s Chris Bukowski and the Night Life Agency will team up to host the Hyatt Regency’s first-ever masquerade ball. The five-hour soiree kicks off at 10pm, featuring an open bar, passed hors d’oeuvres, live DJs and party favors. At midnight, the ballroom will release a balloon drop and TVs will live stream the Times Square celebration. Dinner and hotel packages are available. Tickets are $99.
